This case is a tragic story about a scorned mother who decided to take drastic and horrific steps to punish her husband, but there is a strange subplot about a Reddit post and how the internet got caught up in one of those most disgusting crimes imaginable.  In 2016 Jason posted on Reddit looking for advice - he did this under the username u/Jasoninhell.  He went to the relationship advice subreddit, to seek solace and help for a case of his wife Brandi cheating on Jason with their neighbour.  Jason described in detail that he discovered the affair with the neighbour and had a confrontation with both his wife Brandi and the neighbour - but ultimately made the decision that he felt was best for their kids, to stick with his cheating wife.  The situation became worse for Jason because his wife used Jason’s previous suicide attempt against him, suggesting that this would be leverage for her that Jason is unfit to care for the kids.  Brandi’s vindictive nature came ...

  This tragedy occurred over the Christmas period in Texas twenty-seven years ago. Chance Wackerhagen (nine years old at the time) lived in Kingsville, Texas, with his mother, Gaye Williams. Chance’s father, Lee “Dub” Wackerhagen, separated from Chance’s mother and resided in Lockhart, Texas, with Latricia White, a local nurse and recently divorced mother of two. Over the Christmas period of that year — Chance would stay with Latricia and his father Dub — leaving his mother on 17 December 1993 and later calling his mother on 25 December 1993 asking to extend his stay with his father. This phone call would be the last time Gaye spoke to Chance. Chance and Lee were last seen on 26 December 1993. Latricia was found shot six times to the head on 27 December 1993.   Source: Who Killed These Girls by Beverly Lowry.  Sometimes a homicide can rock a city to its core - this is what happened to Austin, Texas in 1991 when four teenage girls were murdered in a Yogurt Shop. The victims were as follows:  Amy Ayers aged just 13.  Eliza Thomas aged just 17.  Jennifer Harbison is also aged 17.  Sarah Harbison aged only 15.  This was a tragic event that shaped the future of the city.
